Our sweatshirts are cute,
We love Atoka,
And we think you do too! 💖
Valentine’s vibes are in the air today, and we’re showing a little extra hometown love around Town Hall. Hope your day is filled with sweet treats, warm sweatshirts, and plenty of reasons to love Atoka!

After two weeks of snow, ice, early mornings, late nights, and a whole lot of extra work, the Town of Atoka wanted to say a proper “thank you” to our employees.
All departments enjoyed a hot breakfast provided by Mac’s BBQ as a token of appreciation for the hard work, teamwork, and dedication it took to get Atoka through the winter weather.
Nothing says “we appreciate you” quite like a warm meal after battling ice, trash routes, water issues, and everything else that was thrown our way.
We’re proud of our team and grateful for everything they do to keep Atoka running strong.
As a significant winter storm approaches, Town departments have been working behind the scenes to coordinate staffing, equipment, and response plans to keep our community safe.
From storm readiness to serving our neighbors, this week’s Town at Work shows what it truly means to take care of Atoka—before, during, and beyond the weather. ❄️

We are grateful for the men and women of the Atoka Police Department who serve our community with dedication, integrity, and care, often in challenging and unpredictable situations. Your commitment to Atoka does not go unnoticed.
We also extend a heartfelt thank you to "Military Women Across the Nation" and "Soldiers' Angels" for the beautiful handmade keychains provided to each officer. Small gestures like these carry a big message of appreciation and support.
Thank you to all who serve and support our law enforcement community—today and every day.

Public Works will be collecting live Christmas trees for disposal on Saturday, January 3rd, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Nancy Lane Park (118 Atoka Park Ave).
If you have any questions, please contact Town Hall at 901-837-5300.

From sneaking around offices to stirring up some holiday shenanigans, the Grinch reminded us that even at Town Hall, we’re not immune to a little Christmas chaos. Don’t worry though — our staff kept their holiday spirit strong and made sure the Grinch didn’t steal too much joy.
Keep an eye out… you never know where he might pop up next! 💚

Our giving tree is empty, but our hearts are incredibly full.
This holiday season, the generosity of our community showed what it truly means to be from Atoka. Because of you, neighbors in need received a helping hand when it mattered most.
Thanks to the kindness of so many, a total of $2,476.79 was applied directly toward local utility accounts—helping ease the burden for families during the holidays. Every donation, big or small, made a meaningful difference.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated and helped spread warmth, compassion, and hope throughout our community. This is Atoka at its best.

Santa’s Ride rolled through town this past weekend, and we hope you were able to catch a glimpse of Santa cruising through your neighborhood atop the big red fire truck, spreading cheer and waving to all our wonderful residents.
The fun didn’t stop there! Families gathered at Town Hall for pictures with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and even the Grinch himself, along with festive crafts, yummy cookies, and plenty of holiday smiles. And if you haven’t yet, be sure to swing by and check out our beautifully lit Christmas tree next to the Fire Station at Town Hall—it’s shining bright for the season!
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and help make Santa’s Ride such a joyful community tradition. ❤️🎄
